BANGKOK, 2021年11月22日 - (亞太商訊) - 泰國公共衛生部已與 RxLeaf World Medica 簽署了關於建立國際醫用大麻研究中心的諒解備忘錄（MOU）。最新的動向是泰國成為世界級大麻生產和開發中心計劃的一部分。該中心旨在成為醫用大麻基因研究的知識中心，匯集來自加拿大、荷蘭等國家的醫生、研究人員、專家進行大麻產品研發，同時交流醫用大麻知識。
泰國副總理兼公共衛生部長 Anutin Charnvirakul 先生表示，該部一直在推廣醫用大麻及其安全治療。根據這項研究，大麻可以治療各種疾病，如癌症、癲癇、多發性硬化症伴肌肉疼痛和神經痛。
