香港, 2019年5月10日 - (亞太商訊) - 由享譽國際的當代意大利藝術家洛倫索·奎恩(Lorenzo Quinn)創作的大型雕塑《Building Bridges》現於威尼斯展出。奎恩為現代最受歡迎的雕塑家之一，其公開藝術品遍佈全球各地，皆以充滿表現力的方式重新創作具象及人手雕塑作，呈現出愛和人與人之間的聯繫。

《Building Bridges》堪稱是奎恩到目前為止的巔峰之作，現時坐落於威尼斯Castello 區Arsenale的盆地。雕塑外型壯觀，高15米、闊20米，由六雙巨大的手組成，反映人性的共通性，強調彌合生活上各方面的分歧，包括地理、哲理、文化和情感上。

洛倫索·奎恩表示：「威尼斯被列為世界遺產城市，市內橋樑交織，因此是宣揚世界團結和平最理想的地點，希望藉此能讓更多來至全球各地的人建立聯繫，而非建起圍牆和屏障。」

奎恩的創作靈感主要受到米開朗基羅(Michelangelo)、伯爾尼尼(Bernini)、羅丹(Rodin)等藝術大師所啟發，其作品於4月29日至6月30日在倫敦的Halcyon Gallery展出。奎恩的作品於過去20年來一直被Halcyon Gallery收藏。Halcyon Gallery於倫敦設有三間畫廊，專門展示現代及當代的藝術，同時亦與新崛起及享負盛名的國際藝術家緊密合作，舉辦世界一流的藝術展覽供全球各地人士遠道而來欣賞。
