| 該初級聯合開發產品符合歐洲安全標準和監管要求 |
香港, 2021年1月14日 - (亞太商訊) - 車載人工智能計算機視覺解決方案的領先企業Cipia（原Eyesight科技）日前宣布與高級數字成像解決方案的領先開發商豪威科技（OmniVision）達成合作，將豪威科技OAX8000汽車專用集成電路（ASIC）與Cipia駕駛員監控軟件相結合，共同研發首個符合安全標準和監管要求的量產初級駕駛員監控解決方案。
自歐盟新車安全評鑒協會（Euro NCAP）2025發展藍圖發布以來，世界各地的監管機構開始重視駕駛員監控系統（DMS），以消除因駕駛員分心或疲勞而造成的危險。歐洲通用安全條例規定，駕駛員監控要求不僅適用於新車型，還適用於將在歐洲註冊的包括現有車型在內的所有車輛。
得益於在車型設計中已優先考慮到此類技術的要求，新車型得以輕松搭載DMS；但現有車型則面臨著改造挑戰以符合新的DMS規範。憑借小巧的外形和高性價比的定位，OAX8000成為改造現有車型的不二之選，同時它也為新車型提供了絕佳的獨立DMS選擇。
OAX8000為Cipia的DMS解決方案提供了在中央處理器（CPU），神經網絡處理器（NPU）和內存之間達到最佳平衡的硬件配置，在保證高質量的同時確保了高資源利用率。豪威科技的硬件和Cipia軟件的結合，不僅能夠檢測到駕駛員疲勞和註意力分散以確保安全，還可以提供便捷功能，如識別駕駛員身份，實現車內環境個性化。
